Independence Day Celebration in America
Every year on July 4th, the United States of America celebrates their decision to declare their independence from Great Britain. The Independence Day, more commonly known across the country as the Fourth of July, is a day of parties, parades, picnics and patriotic displays in celebration of the country’s birth. Red White and Blue LED Lights, flags, streamers and ribbons adorn many homes, offices, party venues, public squares. Government offices are closed, as well as banks, courts, libraries and many businesses.
Everyone feels a need to decorate their homes with white, blue and red items each year the Fourth of July nears. It is also typical for many people to out, relax and have fun every July 4th but with a slow economy, it is not surprising that numerous families would prefer celebrating the day at home, entertaining visitors such as friends and relatives. Some people prefer holding simple family reunions or family barbeques spiced with fun games for the children and exchange of stories for the adults.
Despite the current status of America’s economy, no post-recession struggles can keep Americans from celebrating Uncle Sam’s birthday with colorful parades, patriotic speeches and music, delicious food, little American flags, parties and colorful fireworks shows.
